About SMITH and Others
Much of what I have for my mother's side comes from type written records that my Aunt Edith wrote. I am not sure of the date that she did them, but I believe it would have been around 1960 or there about. I imagine she had kept a "birthday" book of important dates. Her youngest sister, my mother, did and I have it now. It is better than a family bible for entries!

Some of my father's side information came from him, either written or verbal. Much more came from my cousin Grace, who had started looking into our family genealogy long before I did.

In addition to this line I am also researching the lines of my 3 husbands. 2 for my daughters and the last is for my present husband of many years. And if that is not enough, I am also researching both lines for 1 friend and 1 line for 2 others. I am not a professional, but I do hope to be Certifiable...I mean, Certified, one of these days.

I will strive to keep this site updated and I plan to add a good bit to it in the stories section, etc.

Happy Hunting!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
